What booking the house means
Booking the house books the whole house: three bedrooms, two baths, the kitchen, the laundry, the covered deck and the fenced back yard, with nobody else inside it.
It has its own entrance, its own driveway and its own EV charger. It sits on the same property as the motel rooms and the RV sites, which keep running while you are here, so the grass area, the treehouse and the picnic tables are shared.

Who sleeps where
Six beds across three bedrooms: one king, one queen, one bunk with a twin over a twin, and one bunk with a twin over a queen. Eight guests.
We have not written down yet which bed sits in which bedroom. If that decides the trip for you, email us and we will go and look before you book.

- One closet in the house stays locked and is not part of what you rent.
We have no photographs of the inside of the house yet, so there are none on this page. The kitchen, the living room, the three bedrooms and both baths are on the list, and they go up the week they are taken. We would rather show you nothing than somebody else's kitchen.
Before you book
Cancellation
Free until 48 hours before check in. Inside 48 hours we charge the first night.
And if you book three or more days ahead, California gives you a second, separate right: 24 hours from your confirmation to cancel free for any reason, refunded within 30 days. It does not apply to a booking made inside 72 hours of arrival. Both rights, in full.
What you pay
No card is taken on the booking page yet. We hold your dates and email you to confirm.
We charge the full stay when you book, refundable under the cancellation policy.
The nightly price is the whole price we charge. There is no booking fee, no resort fee and no cleaning fee. Plumas County adds 9 percent occupancy tax and 3 percent tourism district assessment on top, and both stop after 30 nights.
Two nights in the house is $450, plus $40.50 occupancy tax and $13.50 tourism district: $504 in total.
House policies
Check in after 4 PM. Check out 10 AM. Quiet hours 10 PM to 6 AM. No smoking. One night minimum. Up to two dogs, 70 lbs or less, at $20 a night.
A service animal is not a pet: the dog limits and the nightly charge do not apply to one and we never charge for one. All six policies, in full, are on rates and policies.
Accessibility
We have not measured anything here for accessibility yet: not a doorway, not a step, not a shower. We are measuring it in October and the numbers will go on this page.
