A motel room, the whole house, or a full hookup pad for the rig. All three sit on one property three miles west of Chester, where Highway 36 meets Highway 89.

One room with its own door onto the lot, a kitchenette and a private bath. Right for one or two people, for a night on the road or a base for a few days in Lassen.
From $125 a night plus county tax
The whole three bedroom house with nobody else inside it: a full kitchen, a washer and dryer, a covered deck, a fenced back yard and its own driveway. Sleeps eight.
From $225 a night plus county tax
A full hookup pad on gravel: 50 amp power, water and sewer. Fifteen of them, put in new in 2024, open every month of the year.
From $60 a night plus county tax
First bookable night: Wednesday 30 September 2026.

Two nights in a room is $250, plus $22.50 occupancy tax and $7.50 tourism district: $280 in total. The same two nights on an RV site is $134.40, and in the house $504.
Free until 48 hours before check in. Inside 48 hours we charge the first night.
And if you book three or more days ahead, California gives you a second, separate right: 24 hours from your confirmation to cancel free for any reason, refunded within 30 days. It does not apply to a booking made inside 72 hours of arrival. Both rights, in full.
No card is taken on the booking page yet. We hold your dates and email you to confirm.
We charge the full stay when you book, refundable under the cancellation policy.
The nightly price is the whole price we charge. There is no booking fee, no resort fee and no cleaning fee. Plumas County adds 9 percent occupancy tax and 3 percent tourism district assessment on top, and both stop after 30 nights.
Two nights in a room is $280 all in. Two nights on an RV site is $134.40. Two nights in the house is $504.
Check in after 4 PM. Check out 10 AM from a room or the house, noon from an RV site. Quiet hours 10 PM to 6 AM. No smoking. One night minimum. Up to two dogs, 70 lbs or less, at $20 a night.
A service animal is not a pet: the dog limits and the nightly charge do not apply to one and we never charge for one. All six policies, in full, are on rates and policies.
We have not measured anything here for accessibility yet: not a doorway, not a step, not a shower. We are measuring it in October and the numbers will go on this page.
